The immune system is a complex interplay of the body’s systems, whose job is fighting off bacteria, disease, infection, and virus that upsets the body balance. A strong immune system recognizes what does not belong in the body and destroys it. Learn to use Kundalini Yoga to activate your inner healer!
This workshop offers participants a range of excellent yogic tools to take away for a healthy immune system. You will learn:
- Yoga sets that strengthen the immune system from vastly different healing angles.
- Breath meditations that have great benefit for the immune system, and for the overall health of the body, including helping with depression and discouragement.
- An overview of the immune system which brings increased understanding of the body’s reach for health; it also helps one with choice-making for self-care activities.
- A healing relaxation in the savasana-style.
This workshop is ideal if one is wanting an ”Immune System Tune-up”. It is also designed to support people with cancer and auto-immune disorders or diseases, such as arthritis, asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, Graves Disease, Irritable Bowel Disease, and Fibromyalgia.
The yoga exercises and poses will be accommodated to individual body limitations. No prior experience is required. There will be a handout covering the yoga set, the meditation and the pranayama, so you can continue practicing at home.
Research shows the body/mind/spirit dimensions play intimate roles in immune system health. Join us to experience how!
