The Gong on The New Moon

The New Moon is an auspicious time to release and renew. We’ll use the power of the lunar cycle, Kundalini Yoga, and gong to check in and get clear on what we need to let go of – old ways of thinking, past patterns of shame, fear or regret – and renew our commitments to our deepest, most heartfelt desires. Practice the Kriya for Removing Body Blocks, sink into a deep gong relaxation, and finish with the Ganpati Kriya Meditation, accompanied by live symphanic gong. This is a meditation to invoke the spirit of Ganesha to stealthily work through any blockages.
The Gong and Projection into The Realm of Truth

The gong can loosen and reorganize the relationship of the 10 bodies. The 10 bodies are all your vehicles for sensing and functioning in the gross and subtle realms. When the pranic body is strong and the physical body is relaxed, you can travel in the mental body to the neutral realm called Sach Khand —the realm of truth. This is not really a place. It is a frequency. Around that frequency the saints and liberated souls associate. It is a realm of healing, insight, intuition and service. The experience as the bodies adjust to this frequency of energy varies, but often includes a sense of travel and projection. This set was given by Yogi Bhajan during 1971 to strengthen the nerves and to give the experience of living in Truth. It consists of two parts. The first part is a series of exercises to stimulate the kundalini energy and to prepare the physical body to let the mental body project. The second part is a gong meditation.
About the Teacher
Amardeep Bliss is a life-long learner, PhD candidate in Education, and Kundalini Yoga teacher. She has taught in several countries including Germany, Japan, Korea, Croatia, and Canada. Her recent studies include mindfulness, literacies, and soundscapes. Amardeep is grateful to the Golden Chain of teachers including Yogi Bhajan, Ramana Maharshi, and Thich Nhat Hanh. When Amardeep is not reading, writing, or teaching, you can find her walking or biking the urban cityscape or at an art gallery – she enjoys visual and kinaesthetic experiences as well as auditory!
