Join SA Bliss (Amardeep) for her last gong bath at Lotus! She is moving to Calgary to gong in the Rocky Mountains.
Enjoy an extended gong sound immersion to clear away stagnant energies and rejuvenate your system. Meditate or lie down to merge with the sounds and vibrations of gongs.
Sound is one of the oldest and most natural forms of relaxation and healing, documented and practiced in ancient civilizations, tribes and clinics around the world for over 40,000 years. Gongs, in particular, with their wide range of frequencies, tones and harmonies, are one of the most powerful healing instruments.
Participants of Gong Bath comment on the following benefits:
- Deep relaxation
- Calm the mind
- Release of tension
- Decreased stress and anxiety levels
- Improved sleep
- Increased clarity of mind, awareness and insight
- Invigorating the body
- Enhanced concentration and creativity
- Removal of blocks
- Improved sense of hearing
- Awakening to higher states of consciousness
- Deeper connection with your true self
The sounds and vibrations in an extended Gong Bath lower your brainwaves, often inducing a state of deep meditation and relaxation (alpha). Some may enter an even deeper state, where visions, creative and spiritual awareness and insight are possible too (theta). You may drift deeper into a sleep state (delta), and that’s perfectly fine. We’ll begin with some chanting of Om (AUM) to resonate with the 4 states of our existence (waking, dreaming, sleeping, and Turiya), priming the body as a gong, and then immerse ourselves in 62-minute Gong Bath followed by ample time to sink into sweet, full silence. Ahhhhh.
Please arrive early to avoid disruption to those in relaxed states. Thank you.
