Friday November 10th

Gift of Giving:
Warm Clothing Drive + Meditation/Gong Relaxation

with Amardeep Bliss

lotusyoga Expired Workshops

Join us for an evening of getting together and giving back. We’re collecting winter clothing donations, for distribution to homeless residents of Toronto. One of our teacher training students, Annie, organizes this clothing drive every year. Donations will be given away, along with warm food, in Moss Park on November 18th. Even one item of clothing makes a world of difference to those who have to sleep on the streets. Rustle through your closets and bring us all those sweaters and coats that you haven’t worn in years!

We’ll also celebrate with an 11-minute mantra meditation and a long deep gong relaxation.

We’re collecting:

  • warm used clothing in good condition (sweaters, scarves, winter jackets, pants, gloves, etc)
  • new socks, bras, and underwear
  • hygienic products like pads, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, etc

If you don’t have any warm clothing to donate, please bring a cash donation, to be donated to 3HO Toronto towards burrito-rolling efforts, which will be distributed to those in need of food in the coming months.

PS Can’t attend? We’re accepting donations at the studio until Friday November 17th. Feel free to drop-off donations in any class! The donation box is at the back of the yoga room.
