The bandhas are ‘locks’ applied to different areas of the body in yoga practice. They direct our internal flow of energy – prana and apana. Using bandhas allows an equilibrium to be established that has an enormous impact on the entire system of the body and mind.
Together in this all-levels Kundalini Yoga workshop, we’ll practice and refine the three main bandhas: neck, diaphragm, and root. In learning to contract and control various muscles in the physical body, we can circulate prana in the subtle body. In Kundalini Yoga, mastering these inner gymnastics helps to consolidate the effects and efforts of each exercise, and helps to direct the flow of kundalini energy. Join us to deepen your experience of the bandhas and bring more potency and power to your practice.
Come with a willingness to explore and an empty belly!
