The brain reward pathway is the primary neurological route through which we experience pleasure. Natural activities such as eating, drinking, having sex, and receiving a massage stimulate this pathway, allowing us to experience pleasure. Activities such as shopping, gambling and the use of addictive substances also engage this pathway.
Join Nirmal Singh for this 3-hour workshop. We’ll use Kundalini Yoga to better understand what underlies addictions and demoting habits, and work with tools like mental processing, breath and meditation to decrease your cravings. No prior yoga or meditation experience required, all are welcome.

About the Teacher
Nirmal Singh has been practicing Kundalini Yoga since 1995 and teaching since 1999. A lead teacher trainer, Nirmal has devoted himself to the study and practice of Kundalini Yoga for many years and holds these teachings with utmost respect.
Nirmal mentors with Sat Dharam Kaur in her “Beyond Addiction: The Yogic Path to Recovery” training program. Nirmal has co-facilitated this program in Toronto, Owen Sound, Guelph and Peru, and teaches Beyond Addiction Community Support Program classes in Toronto.
