Acu Gong & Sound Escapes
Sunday, February 25th, 2024
6:00 – 7:15 pm
With Annie Keshishian and Aya Tomioka
This session combines two incredibly potent medicines, Gong & Acupuncture to reset our nervous systems & create spaciousness with our internal & external processes as we contemplate what we wish to call in & invite in our lives for this Astrological new year.
Our session will begin with a short grounding meditation to invite our minds & bodies into stillness & presence. We will then lie down & receive rejuvenating Gong & sound bath while Aya offers each participant acupuncture or acupressure during the sound session. This is a beautiful opportunity to tap into the subtle power of these ancient potent medicines to align with our innate ability to create & manifest.
Winter season is associated with the water element which indicates a time to slow down and go inward. Astrologically, we are in a waning Solar Cycle in the northern hemisphere which reiterates the themes of slowing down, nourishing the self and moving the awareness to our inner realms.
We will utilize a total of 5 points near the ears during this session. The points focus on relaxing the nervous system while rebalancing important Chinese medicine organ systems to help realign the body, mind, and spirit.
REGISTRATION: Space is limited to 10 participants. Pre Registration is absolutely required. Address details will be provided upon registration.

Acupuncture, Chinese medicine, and meditation are modalities Aya Tomioka believes in because they were catalysts and supports during their own healing journey. They believe that re-engaging with our lives is fundamental in helping us get to where we want to be. Aya’s practice aims to help you connect with your body as the anchor of your lived experience. In acknowledging and honouring our somatic experiences, we are able to meet ourselves where we are at.
