Kundalini for the Five Elements
There are five elements (tattvas) of which you are made: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether. These five tattvas engage three types of behaviours or qualities called ‘gunas’ that determine the altitude and attitude of your life. Using Kundalini Yoga and Meditation techniques we will explore the elements (tattvas) and the animalistic, earthling, and angelic qualities of being and behaving (gunas).
Join Krista Schilter for 5 classes to connect to your elemental being. We’ll use Kundalini Yoga to explore a different tattva and guna each week. Each class includes warm-ups, breathing exercises (pranayam), an exercise set (kriya), deep relaxation, chanting, and meditation.
No yoga or meditation experience is necessary. Please arrive 10 minutes before class begins to get settled and check-in.

About the Teacher
Krista Schilter spends her time connecting with people and places near and far. She takes her cues from an array of sources and styles, influenced greatly by her travels and practice around the world. Her interests include urban agriculture and horticultural therapy which lend to a reclaiming of a lost connection with nature. She believes that a mindfulness practice and a connection with self through the natural world will provide us with the means to reset and recharge ourselves.
Krista teaches Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, and Kundalini Yoga at studios around the city.
When she’s not teaching or doing yoga, Krista practices Therapeutic Horticulture in greenhouses around the city and maintains a 1000 sq ft herbal plot at Fresh City Farms.
