Awakening to your 10 Bodies

We know we have a physical body; we can see it, touch it, and feel it. But according to the teaching of Yogi Bhajan, we also have other bodies that are equally real, if not more so.

Join Krista Schilter for 11 classes to awaken to your 10 Bodies. We’ll use Kundalini Yoga to explore a different body each week (the physical body, three mental bodies, and six energy bodies). Each class includes warm-ups, breathing exercises (pranayam), an exercise set (kriya), deep relaxation, chanting, and meditation.

We’ll also use numerology to explore our unique destinies, gifts, karma, and paths, using our birth dates, in relation to the 10 Bodies.

No yoga or meditation experience is necessary. Please arrive 10 minutes before class begins to get settled and check-in.

“If you understand that you are Ten Bodies, and you are aware of those Ten Bodies, and you keep them in balance, the whole Universe will be in balance with you.” ~ Yogi Bhajan

About the Teacher

Krista Schilter spends her time connecting with people and places near and far. She takes her cues from an array of sources and styles, influenced greatly by her travels and practice around the world. Her interests include urban agriculture and horticultural therapy which lend to a reclaiming of a lost connection with nature. She believes that a mindfulness practice and a connection with self through the natural world will provide us with the means to reset and recharge ourselves.

Krista teaches Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, and Kundalini Yoga at studios around the city.

When she’s not teaching or doing yoga, Krista practices Therapeutic Horticulture in greenhouses around the city and maintains a 1000 sq ft herbal plot at Fresh City Farms.
